New project – 50s-esque floral sundress
I’ve been pinning and cutting out the pattern pieces, really simple pattern, just four pattern pieces, which is probably a good thing as I kept getting distracted by all the lovely cake on the Great British Bake Off.
I have a strange desire to go make cake – I have all the ingrediants, it would be very easy to go knock up a batch of fairy cakes, but I’m not sure my housemates would forgive me as I’ve already made brownies this week (more on that later).
Next job for tomorrow is to cut out the lining, just a piece for the top as I’m trying to keep it simple, so hopefully I can finish it without too much trouble, as I’m struggling on the motivation and organisation at the moment.
