Pink Flamingo Swizzle Stick, named after a cocktail stirrer, is a girl, a sewing machine, and lots of ribbon and fabric leading to a multitude of stylish and useful items!
Pink Flamingo Swizzle Stick started, at great risk to a student house deposit, with some t-shirts and stencils.
It has since developed, via a lovely sewing machine, into a shop of iPod covers, hardback books and other quirky stylish things.
I first made an iPod cover to keep my iPod Nano from getting scratched when it was bouncing around in my bag on the commute to work. I’ve since added covers for various different sizes of iPod.
I love browsing fabric stores and collecting interesting fabrics to create new items, hence the mixture of styles.
When I’m not crafting, I’m busy putting the world to rights (or covering school fairs, it varies) as a reporter on a local paper.
I’m currently based in Cardiff.
